The Atom’s and LIVERPOOL’S game-focused improv team. This team laid the foundation for The Atom. It changed form many times, but it started in 2019 and has featured Al Donohoe, Cal Forbes, Steve Green, Brianne Edge, Sean Mason, Mike Burton, Sam Walton, Becky Webb, Kate McDonald, Jen Hardy and Ahmed Al-Naher.
House Guests
House Guests is our flagship show featuring several Atom regulars and many of our pals from neighbouring theatres and beyond. Each show features a special guest monologist who will share stories inspired by a suggestion from the audience that will work as inspiration for the entire show! Past guests have included Will Hines, Graham Dickson, Michelle Gilliam and many more!
Stupid.
Stupid is an improvised comedy duo featuring Al Donohoe and Mike Burton.
Inspired by audience suggestions, the pair of fast-thinking fools create comedic scenes that thematically link while bouncing off one another. And, as the name suggests, things soon get silly…
Not only does the duo make it up as they go along, but they also play multiple characters within scenes, and, at times, swap and play each other's characters. Watching them skillfully keep pace with their own spontaneous creation only adds to the fun.
The show is joyful, daring and very, very stupid.

Formed in 2024, Whiskey Richard is one of our OG Harold teams here at The Atom, featuring Molly Cichy, Vicky Raby, Wills Ogden and Alun Parry.
